Library |

A library is the heart of any educational
institution.
Matching with its tradition for excellence
in the academics, the college library
presently has 40,000 books on its
shelves. It subscribes for 80 periodicals
as well as leading daily newspapers.
A team of assistants helps the students
and the reader to locate books. It
can boast of a study room where students
can sit and read in a very peaceful
and congenial environment. It keeps
on adding latest books and periodical
to keep the collection up to date.
The library alongwith the latest books
and periodicals also has a collection
of video-cassettes on Economics, Commerce
and Management. Facilities like surfing
the Internet are also provided to
our students and teachers at the library.

Book
Bank |
| |
The Book Bank of the College was established
in the year 1974. It has been extending
help to the poor students of all the
classes. During the course of time
it has taken the shape of mini-library.
The poor students who cannot afford
to buy books avail the facility of
the book-bank. It also inculcates
a feeling of charity amongst the well
to do students. As the students pass
out, they donate their books to the
book-bank for needy students. Approximately
200 students take the advantage of
this facility every year. |
