Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM), Mumbai had organized the National Seminar on “Marketing in the Convergence Era” on 17th March, 2018 in the institute auditorium.
Dr. Parag Kalkar, Professor & Director at Sinhgad Institute of Management, Pune and Regional Vice President of AIMS inaugurated the national seminar and delivered an inaugural address. Dr. Kalkar discussed the changing role of marketing in the era of convergence. He further explained how the convergence of technology, information, finance, gaming and telecom has transformed the way we interact and undertake business transactions. Keynote was addressed by Mr. Purushottam Kaushik, Advisor in McKinsey and as Independent Director of Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Ltd. He highlighted on various statistical data on internet penetration, data consumption and e-commerce is growing in India and at global level elucidated on the challenges forward as a marketer.
