- The Candidates
must have passed a Bachelor’s
Degree examination in any Faculty
of this University or any examination
recognized by this University as,
equivalent
- Acquired a minimum
two years work experience after
Graduation (Supervisory / Executive)
the experience being counted from
the day subsequent to the last day
of the qualifying examination passed
by the candidate. In selecting the
candidate for admission weightage
will be given to .
a) Scholastic record of the candidate;
b) The level and nature of practical
experience and
c) Performance in the selection
programmed (i.e. written test, group
discussion and / or personal interview)
conducted by the institute.
- Candidates who
are graduates of the University
of Mumbai will be required to produce
a Transfer Certificate from constituent
colleges of the University last
attended by them, at the time of
admission, if selected.
- Candidate who
are graduates of the other Universities
will be required to produce at least
a Provisional Statement of Eligibility
issued by the Registrar, University
of Mumbai, declaring them eligible
for admission to the course. The
University will only confirm the
admission after confirmation of
their eligibility.
- The Registrar
of University of Mumbai issues a
provisional eligibility certifcate
to a candidate who is prima-facie
found eligible for admission to
the course and on making an application
in the prescribed from and on paying
the prescribed fee.
- Final Statement
of Eligibility required for confirmation
of Eligibility should be submitted
to the University through the Institute
latest by the end of the first semester.
A Candidate
who has passed the D.M.S examination
of the University of Mumbai and is desirous
of joining three years (part-time) degree
courses. The candidate has to successfully
undergo the admission procedure for
direct admission to the second year. |

A candidate for
being eligible for admission to the
two years Post Graduate course leading
to the degree of Master of Commerce
(M.Com) must have passed the T. Y.
B.Com., BMS (Sem. VI) or an examination
recognised as equivalent thereto,
with such subjects, as may be specified
by the University in Commerce stream.
Admission to the two years Post Graduate
Course shall be regulated as per rules
University of Mumbai framed from time
to time.
At the time of admission,
these students shall have to submit
the following certificates.
- T. Y.B.Com./BMS
(Sem. VI) Examination mark sheet
in original and copy thereof.
- Attested Copy of
School College leaving certificate
in support of date of Birth.
- Character Certificate
from the Head of the institution
last attended.
- Undertaking as
per Appendix-B from the student

in the P.G. Registration form in
due course
Students passing
examinations equivalent of T. Y.B.Com.
from outside Maharashtra State and migrating
from other Universities or Boards and
seeking admission to the M. Com. class
(Part 1&II) will be admitted only
on the production of Provisional Eligibility
Certificate, from the Mumbai University.
They should submit the migration certificate,
statement of marks and passing certificate
in original along with a copy within
two months from the date of admission
failing which their admission is liable
to cancellation. |

A candidate for
being eligible for admission to the
two years post graduate course leading
to the degree of Master of Computer
Science (M.Sc. Computer Science) must
have passed the T. Y.B.Sc. examination
conducted by the Mumbai University
or an examination recognized as equivalent
thereto, with such subjects, as may
be specified by the University in
Science stream. Admission to the two
years post graduate Course shall be
regulated as per rules University
of Mumbai framed from time to time.
At the time of admission,
these students shall have to submit

Students coming from other constituent
colleges of Mumbai University after
T. Y.B.Sc. will be admitted provisionally
on production of No Objection Certificate.
Their admission will be confirmed
only on receipt of the Transference
Certificate from their previous college.
For this purpose they should submit
T. C. application form and T. C. fee
to the college office, at the time
of admission.

For admission to MSc.
IT, the following conditions will
apply:
- There will
be 20 seats per batch. All the admissions
will be on merit (i.e., percentage
of aggregate marks secured for the
qualifying examination). Reservation
criterion should be followed as
prescribed by government at the
time of admission..
- Students securing
minimum 45 percent marks at the
three year BSc degree in Information
Technology of Mumbai university
or any recognized university are
eligible
Or
BCS with minimum 45 percent marks
Or
BE in IT or electronics and telecomm
with minimum 45 percent marks
Or
BE degree in information technology
with 45 percent marks
Registration
as postgraduate student: Every candidate
admitted for MSc IT will have to register
as a postgraduate student of Mumbai
University.
